Looking for help finding work?
Join Steps to Employment every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from
10am to 3pm
at Down Town in Burnley. If you live in Burnley or Padiham, are 16+, unemployed, and not receiving support
from Job Centre Plus, come along and get our help to find work.
Our team are experts at supporting people into employment and apprenticeships. Plus, we’ll even treat you
to a brew and cake!

Eligibility and Support
To be eligible for Steps To Employment, you must be:
- Living in Burnley or Padiham
- Aged 16 or over
- Unemployed and not in receipt of any training
- Without receipt of benefits or Universal Credit
- Passionate about getting into work or training
The support we offer to you:
Steps To Employment can aid you in ways such as:
- CV and Cover Letter writing support
- Interview preparation and techniques
- Financial training and advice on benefits
- Digital support sessions
- Engagement with employers
- In-work support once you get a job
