Support in getting into work
Helping people achieve their career and personal development goals through CV writing, job search support, interview coaching, access to training, and volunteering opportunities.
There are a range of skills and employment sessions taking place at Down Town (the Burnley Together Hub).
Steps to Employment
Our ‘Steps to Employment’ project helps people across Burnley and Padiham increase their chances of getting a job. Working in the local community, we provide tailored skills and employment support including training and activities to build confidence and break down any barriers to employment.
The project will be delivered by Calico Enterprise, and is funded through the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund.

WorkWell
WorkWell is a personalised service designed to support you. It is a project aimed at helping individuals who are unemployed, currently off work due to illness, or at risk of becoming unwell and needing time off.
We offer a range of support and have funding available for services such as gym memberships, therapeutic treatments, and talking therapies. In addition, we can assist with your employability needs, including CV writing, interview preparation, and more.
Our goal is to help you improve your wellbeing and move forward with confidence—whether that’s returning to work, finding new employment, or simply feeling better in yourself.
